Are immunization records required?

Yes. Your child's immunization record, Form 121, must be turned in before the first day of school. No child will be able to attend school until this form is received. Form 121 may be obtained from your physician or the Health Department.

What type of curriculum and learning expereince should my child expect?

Wee Learn and The NAEYC Developmentally Appropriate Practice in Early Childhood Programs serve as our curriculum guide. Bible verses, Bible stories, and prayer are taught and modeled. Seasonal parties and special programs are also planned throughout the year. Our rooms are equipped with learning centers and areas where children can use their imagination and fine motor skills. Our playground allows children to use their gross motor skills in a monitored environment.

What classes are offered at the EEC?

Classes are offered for two-, three-, four-, and five-year-olds. Children must be two, three, four, or five years old on or before September 1. All children in the three-year-old class and above must be potty trained.

What are the EEC's school hours?

Preschool and Kindergarten students begin school at 8:30 AM. Kindergarten is dismissed at 11:30 AM on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, and at 2:00 PM on Tuesday and Thursday. Preschool is dismissed at 11:30 AM on Monday through Friday. The EEC School Year begins the first Tuesday after Labor Day.
